Tea Tree oil for toenail fungus!
Is the word "miraculous" too dramatic? I don't think so! Look at this picture of my big toe, 4 months after I applied a drop of melaleuca alternifolia--a.k.a. Tea Tree oil--to the nail bed and under the nail twice a day for about a week. You can see where the damaged nail has grown out, and all the new growth is pink and healthy. Who needs expensive, liver-damaging drugs when Mother Nature has the answer?!
A widely-advertised drug for treating toenail fungus lists possible side effects as "headache, gastrointestinal symptoms, including diarrhea, upset stomach, taste disturbances, nausea, abdominal pain, flatulence, rash, itching, hives, and abnormalities in laboratory tests of liver enzymes." Guess what side effects I experienced from my essential oil treatment? Only a healthy new toenail!
I used Tea Tree oil from Young Living--pure, organic, 100% therapeutic grade. Tea tree oil is highly antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, with an impressive history of research and study to back up its effectiveness against many kinds of undesirable microbes. It should be in everyone's bathroom cabinet and in every hiker's backpack.
